Physical activity is any bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles that require energy expenditure. Physical activity is basically anything that gets your body moving. Kids and teens should get 60 minutes (1 hour) or more physical activity each day. Some examples of physical activity are:

Physical fitness is the ability of your body systems to work together efficiently to allow you to be healthy and perform activities of daily living. This means you can do everyday tasks without getting too worn out. Physical fitness means:

-Your lungs and heart sends enough oxygen through your body for you to be active

-Your muscles and bones are strong

-You have good flexibility for things like bending and stretching
